Join or write to the Rouskin Lab.
We are interested in hearing from motivated undergraduates, master's students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and collaborators with interests at the intersection of RNA biology and computation.
For computational trainees
What you might work on
Strong computational applicants might be interested in RNA language models, ensemble inference from DMS-MaPseq data, uncertainty calibration, perturbation design, RNA structure visualization, or models of RNA structure in splicing and viral regulation.
The best fit is someone who wants to move between models and experiments: make a quantitative prediction, design the measurement that could falsify it, and interpret the result with biological care.
Joining the lab
The lab welcomes people interested in quantitative biology, RNA biology, biochemistry, cell biology, computational biology, statistics, and machine learning. For information about ongoing projects, send an inquiry to Silvi Rouskin with a CV and the names of references.
